In this article, I will answer the question, can artificial intelligence recognize emotions? Is it true that AI algorithms cannot think emotionally? You will learn how AI evaluates emotions resulting from posts on Twitter.
Based on an example, I will use sentiment analysis of Twitter posts and how AI can be used to assess people’s moods and reactions to Twitter. I will also list, attributes of a post used to assess the emotional state.

I will also describe how AI can be used in conjunction with large data sets and dictionaries to analyze the emotions evoked by a post. Finally, I will compare the set of input data on the basis of which a human interprets the emotions a post emanates with the input data for AI algorithms on the basis of which they can also identify the emotions evoked by a post through its attributes and reader reactions.

I was inspired to write this article by @omerozturk23’s article — “Will SEO Experts Replace by AI?”

Especially this statement I highlighted — It is important to be emotional thinking, and unfortunately AI does not yet have emotional thinking.

Thinking about this binary, the statement that AI itself cannot think emotionally, or cannot think like a human, is 100% true!

However, let me say that the above statement is not entirely true. Why do I think so?

Personally, as a hobbyist of the Python programming language and the broader issue of BigData, I myself have written code in Python that analyzes the emotional level of posts written by people on various social networks.

Where the sentiment analysis is using?

Sentiment analysis of Twitter posts is the process by which one determines the emotional attitude expressed in posts on this social networking platform. This can include determining whether posts are positive, negative, or neutral, as well as the degree of intensity of emotion expressed in a given position. Sentiment analysis is often used in marketing, social research, and other fields to understand people’s moods and emotions and their reactions to various content and situations.
